Our Club
Mna Na Deirge were originally founded in 1993. In the first season we entered into Division 2 of the Tyrone League where we failed to win any of our games. The following year Mna Na Deirge gained entry to Division One lifting the Tony Fox cup without losing any games. The Derg ladies found it hard to compete in the top flight and within 2 years of winning Division 2 the club was forced to cease.

1999 saw Mna Na Deirge return to football entering teams of senior & U12 level, although we were unsuccessful in claiming any silverware, our U14 team made it to the 2001 division 2 final only to be beaten by Aodh Ruadh. Our senior team has been growing in numbers over the past few years and have competed very well in the league and championship in 2003.This year (2006) we have entered teams at U10, U12, U14, U16, Minor and senior level with large numbers attending training.

Our main objective is to make sure that Gaelic football is provided for women in Castlederg. With an active committee and continued support from our sponsors and supporters we can make sure that Mna Na Deirge will continue to grow.
